ABS Pier Pads

Injection-molded ABS pier pads, steel piers, cap boards, and wedges — the complete pier support system for manufactured homes.

Oliver Technologies' ABS pier pads are injection-molded from high-strength ABS plastic at our Hohenwald, Tennessee manufacturing facility, which operates presses ranging from 500 to 1,000 tons of capacity. Our pier pad product line includes square and oval configurations for standard installations, multi-pier pad setups for heavy mating line loads, steel piers with adjustable heads, cap boards for height adjustment, and leveling wedges. These rot-proof, moisture-resistant foundation pads distribute pier loads evenly across the soil surface, preventing settling and maintaining level manufactured home support throughout the life of the installation.

The Foundation of Every Pier System

Pier pads are the critical base layer that sits between the ground and your pier structure. They distribute the concentrated weight of steel or concrete block piers over a larger soil area, preventing point-load settling that causes unlevel floors, sticking doors, and structural stress over time.

Our ABS pier pads are injection-molded from high-strength plastic that will never rot, crack, or absorb moisture like traditional wood footings — providing permanent, maintenance-free foundation support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use ABS pier pads instead of wood or concrete?
ABS pier pads are rot-proof, moisture-resistant, and will not crack or deteriorate over time like wood footings. They are lighter than concrete pads for easier installation, and provide consistent, engineered load distribution. ABS pads also comply with HUD 3285 installation standards.
What is the difference between square and oval pier pads?
Square pier pads provide uniform load distribution in all directions, making them the standard choice for most installations. Oval pier pads provide extended bearing surface along one axis, which can be beneficial when directional load distribution is needed or when working with specific pier configurations.
When should I use multi-pier pad configurations?
Use multi-pier pad configurations at high-load structural points such as mating line piers for doublewide homes, large opening supports, and marriage wall locations. A three-pad configuration can effectively double the load capacity of a single pier pad.
